Family support and counseling are very crucial for the family. When child has some
disability, entire family bears the challenges. Knowing the members of the families, siblings and other
support system gives an idea about the child’s home climate, which can be used implementing his teaching
program.
As children grow, the transition phase of adolescence needs mindful handling.
Senior students are also being prepared for the school leaving with prior counselling for home
rehabilitation.
Outpatient Department / Medical consultation. Doctors from Goodricke Group Hospital visit GSSE twice in a month. The school maintains a Health Profile Card of each student. Parents consult with the doctors on the respective Doctors Day for any health issues of their wards, with a follow up treatment plan.
