Safe Guarding (Child Protection) Policy

Safeguarding is 'everyone’s primary responsibility '

GSSE recognizes its responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all those who use its services or otherwise attend its activities (each an ‘Attendee’)

Every employee, contractor, volunteer who assist at school is under a general duty-

·        To protect any Attendee from harm.

·        To be able to identify welfare concerns among Attendees and to identify Attendees who need additional support.

·        To be aware of GSSE’s safeguarding procedures, to know how to access them and follow them.

·        To keep a record of any significant event, complaint or conversation and to report any matters of concern to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
